The Pretenders are an English/American rock band formed in England in 1978. They are lead by founding member lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chrissie Hynde. The band released their latest album, Alone, on October 21, 2016.
In addition to Hynde, the members of The Pretenders include James Walbourne - lead guitar and backing vocals, Nick Wilkinson - bass guitar, Martin Chambers - drums, backing vocals and percussion, and Eric Heywood - pedal steel.

Emily is based out of Austin, Texas. She calls her kind of music "Dream Rock."
