Never-Ending Summer Tour Plays Austin 360 Amphitheater


Music filled the night as 311 and The Offspring with special guests Gym Class Heroes brought their Never-Ending Summer United Tour to the Austin 360 Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas on August 4, 2018.

311 is a rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band was formed in 1988 by Nick Hexum, Jim Watson, Aaron Wills, and Chad Sexton. They are considered to be one of the longest running bands, having the same members since 1992. Their sound is a blend of rock, reggae, hip hop, and funk.

311 has released 12 albums over the years including their latest, Mosaic in 2017.  As a special surprise for fans of 311 and The Offspring, the two bands decided to cover each others signature hits, "Self Esteem" and "Down" for the tour. They also released a limited edition 7" vinyl of the two covers.

The Offspring is a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California.  They were formed in 1984 under the name Manic Subsidal. The band has released 9 studio albums and is considered one of the most commercially successful punk rock bands, with over 36 million albums sold worldwide.

Opening the show was Gym Class Heroes.  They were formed in 1997 when vocalist Travie McCoy met drummer Matt McGinley in high school gym class. The band's sound is a blend of rap, rock, R&B, and funk. They have released 5 albums since their formation.
