Wilco Plays Bass Concert Hall


The Grammy Award-winning rock band Wilco brought their energy to the Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas campus on October 1, 2017, for a sold-out show.

Wilco was formed in 1994 in Chicago. They have released 10 albums and earned a Grammy in 2005 for Best Alternative Music Album and 5 other nominations over the years.  On December 1 they will release a deluxe album featuring their first two albums "A.M." and :Being There" plus additional unreleased demos, and never-before-heard songs.

Wilco is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Jeff Tweedy. Joining him are bassist John Stirrat, drummer Glenn Kotche, keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen, guitarist Nels Cline, and keyboardist/guitarist Pat Sansone.

Schneider is the former lead singer for the Ugly Americans, Joe Rock Head, and The Scabs.  He has won 55 Austin Music Awards and has had several of his tracks used in movie soundtracks including "Bullets" which was used in Miss Congeniality starring Sandra Bullock.
