Arcade Fire was formed in 2001 by Win Butler and Josh Deu. They came into prominence in 2004 with their critically acclaimed debut album Funeral. Since then the group has garnered several nominations and awards world-wide including winning the 2011 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. They have also earned nine Juno Awards.

Arcade Fire is lead by husband/wife team Win Butler (lead vocals, guitar, keys, bass, mandolin) and Regine Chassagne (lead vocals, accordion, drums, percussion, keys). Joining them on stage are Win's brother, William Butler (synthesizers, bass, guitar, percission), Richard Reed Parry (guitar, bass, keys, accordion, percussion, backing vocals), Tim Kingsbury (bass guitar, keys, backing vocals), Jeremy Gara (drums, percussion, guitar, keys), and Sarah Neufeld (violin, piano, keys, backing vocals). Joining the group on tour are Tiwill Duparte (percussion) and Stuart Bogie (saxophone, clarinet, flute, keys).
