Five For Fighting Entertains At One World Theatre

Grammy nominated John Ondrasik brought the music of Five For Fighting to one of the Austin area's most unique venues on July 14, 2017, as One World Theatre played host to two shows on the same evening by the singer-songwriter.  Joining Andrasik on stage was a string quartet.

John Ondrasik takes his stage name, Five For Fighting, from his love of the game of hockey: a five minute penalty for on-ice fighting.  Ondrasik released his first album, Message For Albert, in 1997. His second album, America Town, produced his first major hit single, "Superman (It's Not Easy)," in 2000. His third album, Battle For Everything, landed him another hit single, "100 Years," in 2004. Ondrasik's fourth album, Two Lights, became his first top 10 album, debuting at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart, and produced his third top 40 song,"The Riddle," in 2006. Since then, Ondrasik has released a live album, a compilation album, and two more studio albums, with a third in the works.
