Stevie Nicks Rocks Frank Erwin Center

The incomparable rock icon Stevie Nicks stopped by the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of The University of Texas in Austin, Texas on March 12, 2017 as part of her 24 Karat Gold Tour. The tour is a continuation of her 2016 tour in support of Nick's 2014 album 24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault.

Stevie Nick's greeted Austin fans mentioning accidentally being here during SXSW (although this show was not an official part of the festival.) She related this story about how she chose the setlist for this tour.

"I'd like to tell you a little story of this show. It's not exactly the same Stevie Nicks show you've seen over the last 300,000 years. It's different because I decided that at my age, I was going to put together a show that has the songs in it that I love to sing and have never sung onstage before. So I went back through my many, many magical trunks of the lost songs, I'll call 'em, and pulled out my favorites and put this little tapestry thing together, and I hope you enjoy it because it's a lot of fun for me. It's very, very creative. And anyway, it is a trip and it is a journey, so come with me!
