The Scottish alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain performed at Emo's on November 7, 2017.

 The band was formed in 1977 by brothers Jim and William Reid. The band's critically acclaimed debut album, Psychocandy was released in 1985. The Jesus and Mary Chain released 6 albums before disbanding in 1999. they reunited in 2007 at Coachelle. They had not released a studio album since 1998 when Damage and Joy came out in March of 2017.

Opening for The Jesus and Mary Chain was The Dig. this rock band hails from New York City. They released their debut album in 2010 and their latest album, Bloodshot Tokyo came out earlier this year.
