Classic Rock Reigns At HEB Center

Classic rock filled the air on July 31, 2017, as three acts of epic old-school rock royalty brought their United We Rock tour to the stage at the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas. The acts, REO Speedwagon, Styx, and Don Felder entertained the ageless crowd with songs straight from the heart of their youth.

REO Speedwagon

REO Speedwagon was formed in 1967 when keyboardist Neal Doughty and college friends Alan Gratzer, Mike Blair and Joe Matt started to jam together in the dorms at University of Illnois. The band was named after a flat bed truck Doughty studied in school.

He is still rocking along on the keys and piano on each of the bands songs.  Neal is joined by long-time bassist Bruce Hall who joined the band in 1978 and lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kevin Cronin who joined in 1972.
