The Devil Makes Three Plays Austin

The Americana band The Devil Makes Three stopped by Emo's in Austin, Texas on January 13, 2017, for an energetic show with their friends Lost Dog Street Band and the DiTrani Brothers.

The Devil Makes Three hails from Santa Cruz, California and plays a combination of bluegrass, country, blues, ragtime, and folk music. They have released four full-length albums and two live albums since their start in 2002. Their newest album, Redemption and Ruin, was released in September of 2016.

Lost Dog Street Band play a style of music they call "dark country." Their latest album, Rage and Tragedy, was released in 2016. The band consists of husband and wife team Ashley Mae (fiddle) and Benjamin Tod (guitar) along with their friend Ivan Doershuk (drums).

The DiTrani Brothers play original and traditional tunes with western and eastern European folk and early American jazz influences. The band's first self-titled album was released in December 2016.
