Country Rewind Tour Takes Over COTA

Country music legends Rascal Flatts stopped by the Austin 360 Amphitheater at Circuit of the Americas on Friday, July 11 as part of their Rewind Tour. Rewind, Rascal Flatts' ninth studio album, was released in May. Joining Rascal Flatts were their friends Sheryl Crow and Gloriana.


Rascal Flatts

This multi-award winning, chart topping, multi-platinum selling country music group consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, bassist, keyboardist and vocalist Jay DeMarcus, and guitarist and vocalist Joe Don Rooney.

Rascal Flatts performed several of their past hits as well as tracks from their latest album. At one point during the show, LeVox asked his bandmates to put down their instruments and join him center stage for an a cappella version of Pharrel's Happy. After this, Sheryl Crow joined the band for a cover of her song, Picture and then helped the band with their hit, My Wish.

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow performed a flawless set of fan favorites. The nine time Grammy winner, who could easily have sold out this venue all on her own, had many fans in the Austin audience.

Gloriana

Opening the night was Gloriana. Brothers Tom Gossin and Mike Gossin, along with Rachel Reinert, comprise the band. Although the band was limited to a four song set, they were able to perform their biggest hit to date, Kissed You Goodnight, for the appreciative audience.
